Tia: Class of 2012!

You may remember this cute girl from her family session a few months ago.  Now the time has come for Miss Tia to graduate from high school, and I had the pleasure to take some pictures of her!  Tia has a very special place in my heart.  I’ve known her her whole life, I grew up with her.  Tia has had a lot of struggle in her life.  But it’s a very rare occasion that she doesn’t have a smile on her face.  She has the very best heart and I’m very lucky to know her and be apart of her life.

When it’s nice weather, I see Tia riding her bike all the time.  She loves it, and I’m jealous I don’t have one.

Tia brought her favorite purse that she loves to take to town.  I might have ruined her by teaching her to say “Hey girl, heyyyyy.”

I’m not sure if I can pick my very favorite picture, but these next two are definitely in the running…

I’ll leave you with a picture of yours truly with the pretty senior.  If there was a time that Tia was shorter than me- I don’t remember it.

Thanks for stopping by-  Let me know what you think….

Something a little different….

This post has been a long time coming…  I don’t talk a lot about all the things I want to pursue with my photography, maybe for fear that if I say them out loud they won’t ever happen.  But one day I was talking with my best friend about birth stories.  I was so intrigued it, I still am.  Lucky for me, MJ’s sister in-law was pregnant and loved the idea of a birth story!  I’ll admit, when I got the call the night before Laura got induced I was a little nervous.  I’d never witnessed a birth before and honestly wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into.  But I’m SO glad I got to be apart of this little lady’s story!  I was on such an emotional high after miss Brynn was born.  Birth truly is a miracle-

When Brynnley was a week old I went for a visit to take some newborn photos.  She is such a sweetheart, and I had a hard time not just wanting to cuddle her instead of take pictures!!  I have actually named myself honorary God Mother to her. ;)

Brynn with her ‘big’ brother Goliath. :)

Drew and Laura, thank you SO much for letting me be apart of this incredible moment.

May.

I cannot believe it’s already May!!!  I swear time keeps moving faster and faster.  Things are getting very busy around here, lots of weddings coming up and I can’t wait to be apart of them!   Here’s a little of what’s been going on in my life via instagram.

I was in Colorado last weekend for Mr Erickson’s wrestling banquet.  It was a great time- and I can’t wait to be back there in a week and a half to celebrate Jared becoming a senior!!!  It’s been a long four years doing long distance, but we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Speaking of light at the end of the tunnel, we are under 400 days to our big day!  I know that still sounds like a very long time- but with as fast as this year is going, next May will be here before we know it!

Thanks for stopping by….
